NAACP McComb Branch & Pine Belt Mental Health

The NAACP McComb Branch is proud to partner with Pine Belt Mental Health, uniting our efforts to advance equitable mental healthcare access across Southwest Mississippi. This partnership represents a shared commitment to dismantling barriers, addressing disparities, and delivering culturally competent services that meet the unique needs of our communities.

Together, we are working to:

• Expand Community Education on trauma, mental illness, and behavioral health support.
• Advocate for Policy Reforms that increase state and federal resources for rural and underserved populations.
• Strengthen Crisis Response through collaborative intervention strategies with law enforcement and health professionals.
• Empower Families and Veterans with access to counseling, substance abuse treatment, and wraparound services.

This partnership exemplifies our core belief: Mental health is a civil right. Through unified action, we are fostering healing, resilience, and long-term systemic change.
